River's Edge Christian Academy
Our Mission
River’s Edge Christian Academy’s mission is to work in partnership with parents to produce Christ-centered, lifelong learners by combining the best of both home and traditional Christian classroom education, infusing a biblical worldview, focusing on character, and supplying college and career worthy academics.
We offer an innovative educational approach which mirrors a university structure with students spending 3 days in the central classroom and 2 days in their “satellite classroom” at home. Both classrooms are under the supervision of a professional educator. We strive to train students academically and spiritually. Our unique format allows more opportunities for families to strengthen relationships and provide specialized education in an encouraging yet challenging atmosphere.
Students attend classes on campus only three days per week – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Students complete supervised coursework at home two days per week – Tuesdays and Fridays, designated as satellite days. On the two satellite days, parents and students follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher, reinforcing the classroom concepts and learning new concepts as needed.
