Imagine your child loving to learn and being Christ-centered
Think of your preschooler discovering a love for learning and the Bible.
Or your middle schooler forming deep friendships while building the skills they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Imagine your high schooler confident in their faith, ready for their college or career, and equipped to lead with purpose.

This is what River’s Edge Christian Academy is all about.

Through our unique university-structure, students experience the best of both worlds at each of our three locations: a Christ-centered education led by dedicated teachers as well as meaningful time at home where parents remain an active part of their child’s education.

At RECA, education is more than academics—it’s about helping each child become all that God has created them to be.

WHAT MAKES RECA DIFFERENT?
Biblical Worldview
At RECA, faith is the foundation of everything we do. Every subject is taught through the lens of Scripture, helping students connect what they learn in class with how they live each day. From academics to relationships, we want students to see the world—and their place in it—through the truth of God’s Word.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him they will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.

Jeremiah 17:7-8a NIV

The Driving Force at RECA
Our Purpose and Mission Statements
Our purpose at RECA is glorifying God by preparing students’ hearts and minds for God’s use in His world and His work. Therefore, it is our mission to work in partnership with parents to produce Christ centered, lifelong learners by combining the best of both home and traditional Christian classroom education, infusing a biblical worldview, focusing on character and supplying college/career worthy academics.
My oldest started kindergarten this year at River’s Edge and it has been a great experience for our family so far. Her teacher has made school an exciting new chapter and has been extremely encouraging! My kindergartner is reading and writing in print and cursive just a few months into the school year. She is beaming with confidence and loves learning! This is what you want your child’s first experience with school and a teacher to be. The staff and administration are great as well. We also love the flexibility the school’s university structure gives us.

Our family has been a part of River's Edge for the last ten years, and we hope to continue for 9 more years until all our children have graduated! There are many things we love about the school. We appreciate the commitment to quality academics while partnering with the parent to create a successful learning environment for the student at home and at school. We also love how RECA tuition fits in our budget and is affordable. The teachers go above and beyond in helping your child to succeed academically. They have a real heart for the students and care about them as individuals. RECA teaches our kids a biblical worldview that supports what we are teaching them at home. We are so thankful for the teachers that set an example of living out their Christian faith before the students. We are blessed to be part of such a great school!

The University Structure at RECA
At River’s Edge Christian Academy, we believe families deserve the best of both worlds: excellent classroom instruction and meaningful time at home. That’s why our students learn on campus three days a week and spend two “satellite days” learning at home under a teacher-guided plan. This balance allows parents to stay actively engaged while students develop independence, confidence, and strong study habits while still getting the full benefits of a five day school.

For our high school students, RECA is proud to be affiliated with University-Model® schooling through NAUMS, Inc. This nationally recognized model combines the academic strength of college-preparatory instruction with intentional parent partnership, helping students grow in faith, leadership, and readiness for the future.
