What is The Eagle Fund?​

The Eagle Fund is an annual campaign that allows the entire RECA community to participate in our mission to change lives through faith and education. It is our desire to raise up students who are:

• Trustworthy workers (Matthew 9:37; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 15:58; Colossians 3:22-24; 1 Peter 4:10-11)

• Eternally minded (Ephesians 3:20-21; Colossians 3:1-4; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Janes 4:13-14)

• Ambitious to please God (2 Corinthians 5:6-10)

• Conscientious of character (Colossians 4:5-6; 1 Timothy 4:7, 12; 2 Peter 1:5-11)

• Honoring instruction (Proverbs 1:7-8, 4:13, 9:9-10; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

• Equipped to serve (Mark 10:45; Philippians 2:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21; Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Samuel 12:24)

• Skilled thinkers (Daniel 1:8-16; 1 Kings 3:16-28; Acts 17:16-24; Romans 12:2)

Why does our school need the Eagle Fund? Doesn’t tuition cover the school’s expenses?

Tuition is used to fund the day-to-day operational expenses of the school. The Eagle Fund allows us to make improvements and execute the strategic priorities that will allow RECA to continue maintaining high standards of excellence. The Eagle Fund provides the fuel that moves our school forward.

How will contributions be used this year?

Funds will be invested in our educators to improve retention and reach our academic standards of excellence. Additionally, we will allocate funds to respond to demand by creating physical space for people to do great work. Moreover, contributions are used to provide scholarships to families in need. Gifts made to the Eagle Fund are unrestricted and are allocated to the areas of highest priority as identified by the leadership team.

Do all age divisions—elementary, middle, and high school—benefit from the fund?

Yes! All grades, K4-12, benefit from the improvements made possible by the Eagle Fund.

How will we be kept informed on the impact of the fund?

Reports are sent via email in the spring and fall to communicate with our partners regarding the impact of the Eagle Fund. We are committed to transparency and allowing every financial partner insight into the programs and initiatives that their gifts make possible.

How much should I give?

Any and all amounts are appreciated and valued! We understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique, and we are committed to stewarding every gift well, regardless of the amount, to create a lasting impact on our school community.

Can I specify how my donation is used?

Yes, you may designate how your gift should be used. We ask and strongly encourage that gifts are given without restriction to allow flexibility for the funds to be used in accordance with the priorities established by the school’s leadership.

What happened to RECA100+?

Years ago, the school created RECA100+ to replace other fundraising efforts. We asked each family to consider donating $100 or more by the 100th day of school. We are thankful for the generosity our RECA community showed through gifts made to RECA100+. Moving forward, we would like to partner with families, grandparents, and community members who prayerfully consider their contributions to the Eagle Fund, knowing that every amount is valued, appreciated, and stewarded wisely by our school’s leadership.
