Mary Raney
Finance and
Personnel Manager

Mary Raney started her service with the
school in 2002 as K4 Teacher. In 2003, she
served as Staff Pre-school Teacher. In 2004,
she began serving the school office using
her administrative and bookkeeping skills as
the school's Finance and Records Manager.
She also served on the school's first high
school committee formed in 2003, helping to
lay the foundation and groundwork for the
future high school program. She currently
serves as the school's Finance and Personnel
Manager. She has two children who have
attended the school since pre-kindergarten,
Anna and Micah. She believes this model is
the *BEST* model of education available,
building strong family relationships as well
as involving the whole Christian community
to build the strong foundation of Jesus
Christ into the hearts and minds of our
children, who are our next generation. Her
hope and desire is to see this unique model
of education flourish and produce much
pleasing fruit to the Lord. |

Lisa Casey
Records Manager

Lisa Casey is a graduate of East Tennessee
State University and holds a degree in
Computer and Information Sciences. She has
worked for the past 16 years as a medical
secretary and transcriptionist. Mrs. Casey
and her husband, Brian, have two children at
River’s Edge CA: Christina and Sean. |

Kira Rasmussen
WHPC Campus
Office Manager

Kira Rasmussen graduated from Messiah College with a B.A. in Psychology. After
marrying her husband, Brad, and spending 8 years in youth ministry, Kira focused her
energy on discipling and homeschooling her own three children: Levi, Jaimin, and
Aslynn. She and her family love travel and adventure. In 2007, they spent a full year
living “on the road” in their RV. She is now looking forward to a new adventure - serving
River's Edge CA as the WHPC office manager.

Tammy Puckett
High School Coordinator

Tammy Puckett has earned an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University, in addition to having earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She is an ACSI certified teacher and administrator with 14+ years of experience in Christian schools including First Baptist Academy (Powell), Grace Christian Academy, and King’s Academy. She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in educational administration. Mrs. Puckett has extensive experience in initial accreditation for Christian schools as well as experience applying state and national standards. She has significant knowledge and training in biblical application in all subject areas. Her husband, Mike, is a pastor and Bible teacher. She has two sons, T-Bone, a sophomore at East Tennessee State University, and Bill, a graduate student at University of Tennessee Chattanooga, and his wife, Sarrah, also a graduate student at UTC. Tammy’s life verse is John 10:27, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." |

Amy Fellhoelter
Public Relations and Admissions Director

Amy Fellhoelter helped fill in by teaching 8th grade English for RECA and holds a B.A. degree from Samford University in Literature and Communications. She has previously worked in public relations for two non-profit agencies and has extensive experience in publishing. Mrs. Fellhoelter has been married to her husband, Kris, for 16 years. They have three children - Haley, Hannah, and Jonathan. |

Julie Acree

Julie Acree has an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. She was instrumental in the formation of River’s Edge CA (formerly CFC), has served on the board for 4 years, and is the mother of 5 children, all of which have attended River's Edge CA. Currently, the 3 youngest (Adam, Alex, and Autumn) are enrolled. She attends Oak Ridge Baptist Church, where she enjoys coordinating the nursery and working with Kids4Truth. |

Rachel Piotrowski

Rachel Piotrowski graduated from Johnson Bible College with a B.S. in Counseling/Psychology. She has worked as a counselor, teaching assistant, retail grocery manager, and home care program coordinator. She currently lives in Knoxville with husband John and sons Gus and Jake. |

LeAnn Hilemon Technology Coordinator

LeAnn Hilemon received a B.S. degree in
Computer Science from East Tennessee State
University. She and her husband, Chris, have
two children – Daniel and Brooke. Mrs.
Hilemon has worked at River’s Edge CA for
over six years. She is continually surprised
to be a homeschooling mom and enjoys
watching God at work in the lives of the
students and families at River’s Edge CA. A
favorite passage of Scripture that pertains
to work is Colossians 3:22-23 –
”Whatever you do, work at it with all your
heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
since you know that you will receive an
inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is
the Lord Christ you are serving.” |

Wanda Martinson
Rotation Coordinator

Wanda Martinson has been our rotation
coordinator since 2008. Her daughter, Brianna, is a student at River’s Edge CA.
Mrs. Martinson is native from Puerto Rico.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Management and Economics from East
Stroudsburg University, Pennsylvania, in
1995. She loves homeschooling her daughter.
She is also one of our elementary school
substitute teachers. One of her favorite
quotes is, “Whatever you do in life, give it
all you’ve got and don’t wake up one day
regretting that you could have done better
but didn’t.” |

Ashleigh Rogers
Lead Pre-School Teacher (workers'
children) |
Ashleigh Rogers is a mother of 4 children,
ages 17, 12, 9, and 9. She has grown up in
Knoxville most of her life. She has worked
in the preschool setting for 15 years with
children from birth up to 5 years old. Mrs.
Rogers has worked with River's Edge
Christian Academy since 2005 running the
school nursery and has a tender heart for
these youngest members of our school. Her
love and care of the children in the nursery
help give the moms of these little ones the
opportunity to work at the school knowing
their children are in wonderful, capable
hands.
