policies. Smart Tuition
River’s Edge Christian Academy has partnered with Smart Tuition to serve as the school’s tuition and miscellaneous bill processor.
As part of the registration process, each family will be required to enroll with Smart Tuition in order to set up the family’s billing account.Parents will enroll online at: www.enroll.smarttuition.com using school code 11409.
Each family will receive a Family ID# which needs to be included on any check or money order sent to Smart Tuition. During the Smart Tuition enrollment process, families will select their tuition payment plan and preferred method of payment: ACH bank draft, recurring debit/credit card draft (MC/AX/DS only, no Visa, 2.5% convenience fees apply), or monthly invoice billing with payment by check/MO mailed to:

Payments may also be made online or by phone using any of the above methods. Customer service is available 24/7 at 888-868-8828, by email or live chat, accessed by logging into the family’s account. All tuition and miscellaneous fees will be billed through Smart Tuition. Miscellaneous fees will be added to the families’ monthly invoice so that families will be responsible for making only one payment per month. Parents can view all charge and payment details by logging into their Smart Tuition account.
New Families are required to submit a payment by check to River’s Edge Christian Academy for registration fees and one month’s tuition (calculated based on the 10-month payment plan). This check will be held as a security deposit until a family has been accepted into the program and has paid these fees through their Smart Tuition account. After the registration fees and first tuition payment have been paid through the family’s Smart Tuition account, the original check will be shredded. However, if a family has had their family interview and has been accepted into the program but has not made payment through their Smart Tuition account, the school will deposit this check to the school’s account.

Draft Payment Option
River's
Edge Christian Academy offers a recurring bank draft payment option
for paying regularly scheduled tuition payments. In order to
establish this method of payment, a family will need to complete the
ACH Authorization Form and submit it, along with a
VOIDED check, to the school office, ATTN: Finance Manager. This
method of payment may be used with a 10-month or 12-month payment
plan. Tuition
Assistance Program
River’s
Edge Christian Academy has a Tuition Assistance Program, which provides tuition
assistance for families who qualify. The academy uses a third-party
organization, FAST, to evaluate a family’s financial need. This
organization makes a recommendation to the school board regarding an
amount of tuition assistance to award each family. The board then
reviews the recommendation and makes a final decision regarding any
tuition assistance award offered to a family. The maximum amount of
tuition assistance any family may qualify for is 50%. Any family
interested in applying for tuition assistance will need to complete
the following steps:
- Notify
the school administration of your interest in the tuition
assistance program. Please inquire with the Finance Manager to
find out if tuition assistance funds are available before
proceeding with the next step. Please send email to finance@riversedgeca.com
to provide a notice to the school of your desire or intention to
apply for tuition assistance.
- In
order to secure your student's space in his/her respective classes
before classes fill up, we recommend proceeding with the on-line
application process at the same time that you apply for tuition
assistance. Please be aware that there is a $20 non-refundable New
Student Application fee incurred for each new student registered.
However, general registration fees and tuition deposits may be
refundable for a family who has applied for tuition assistance but
is denied tuition assistance or who receives a tuition assistance
award offer that they deem is not substantial enough for them to
be able to meet their remaining tuition obligation. However, once
the family has agreed to accept the tuition assistance award,
registration fees and tuition deposits then become non-refundable.
- Use
this link to access and complete the online FAST application. When you come to the END of
the online application, you will be asked to pay the application
fee of $35, right before submitting the application. The $35 fee
is paid to the third-party organization for processing your
application and is non-refundable.
Rotation
Swap Program
River’s
Edge Christian Academy has a Rotation Swap Program, which allows
families the opportunity to pay $30 extra per month for 10 months
(or $25 per month for 12 months) in order to be exempted from their
monthly rotation duty. In exchange, this provides other families
with the opportunity to work extra rotation duties for a $30 per
month tuition credit. This swap program is managed by the Rotation
Coordinator. The ability to participate is based on a first come,
first served basis and is limited by the need to have the
appropriate balance of workers. You may indicate your interest to
participate in this program when completing your Rotation Request
Form in the summer before the start of the school year, but
participation is not guaranteed. Substitute
Teachers
River’s
Edge Christian Academy uses parents to serve as substitute teachers
and pays for substitute teaching at the rate of $30 per school day.
