Admissions - Registration Procedure
We are excited that you have chosen River’s Edge
Christian Academy for your student’s education.
River’s Edge CA does
not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
gender, national, or ethnic origin in the
administration of its admission. Admission is open
to those who are willing to subscribe to the goals
and philosophy of River’s Edge CA and who meet all
qualifications to be accepted into the program.
All applicants must
agree with the school’s
Statement of Faith.
In order to maintain high
quality education, we also reserve the right to
dismiss from the program any child who is disruptive
to the education of other students and limit
admission to any student based on previous
disciplinary action by another school. The student
must have been in excellent standing in
issues of discipline from previous schools in order
to be accepted. Because of the size of our school
and limited resources, we may not be able to
accommodate some types of special needs students.
(The Administrator and Board make all final
decisions in these cases.)
Steps for Admission for the 2010-2011 School Year
Step 1: Read the
River’s Edge CA Overview.
Step 2: Print the
registration packet.
Then, complete it and submit it to River’s Edge CA
via mail or in person. For each additional student
to register, please print and complete an
additional student packet.
Be sure to attach the necessary registration fee and
tuition deposit (see the “Financial
Policy” for details).
Upper Academy students only (high school) should also
print the
UA Prospective
Admissions Worksheet
and the
Course Catalog.
Read the Course Catalog and then complete and submit
the UA Prospective Admissions Worksheet along with
the application packet from above. If you have
questions about the Upper Academy, please contact
our high school coordinator (highschool@riversedgeca.com).
Step 3: If the desired class is full, we will
notify you and ask you if you wish to be placed on
the waiting list for that class. If space is
available in the desired class, we will contact you
to schedule your family interview. The student and
both parents should attend this interview. After the
family interview, River’s Edge CA will contact you
to inform you of your acceptance status. It is at
the point of acceptance that both the registration
fee and tuition deposit become non-refundable.
