School-sponsored Activities

River’s Edge CA provides numerous activities
throughout the school year. These opportunities
create well-rounded students with exposure to
various facets of education. Each student can
experience these events and hopefully discover gifts
and talents to be developed.
Chapel
Students attend a parent-led chapel service once a
month. This time includes worship, prayer, and a
relevant teaching that serves to refresh both
students and faculty and to remind them of their
unity in Christ and indeed what sets them apart as a
Christian school. Many students have commented that
they look forward to this special time.
Art Fair
Creativity is encouraged throughout the year at
River's Edge CA, but the students particularly look
forward to displaying their unique talents at our
school-wide art fair. Every student is encouraged to
participate and awards are given just for
participation. Ribbons are given for outstanding
achievement, with the overall winners from each
class given the option of displaying their work at a
local venue.
Field Trips
Students go on two enriching field trips per year.
These outings may or may not correspond with the
particular area of study that semester, but the aim
is that they be educational as well as enjoyable.
History Fair
Take a trip back in time at River's Edge CA's
bi-annual History Fair. Each class is assigned
period of history, while each student brings a
particular aspect of it to life. Costumes, art,
research, and presentation are just some of the work
that these students put into this outstanding day.
